Escape to Historic Rabun County in the foothills of the Smoky Mountains & Blue Ridge Mountains. Relax in Clayton, a small town the way small towns used to be. Visit Clayton's unique Shops and Galleries. Enjoy mountain hiking and fishing located nearby. The Historic Old Clayton Inn is less than two hours from Atlanta and is a 30 room Mountain Inn. A guest would feel comfortable in casual attire or Sunday best.
Our Restaurant serves breakfast and lunch 7 days a week. Our Guests enjoy a FREE full hot Breakfast. Monday through Friday we offer Daily Specials as well as a full lunch menu. The Old Clayton Inn serves a lunch buffet Saturday and an expanded buffet on Sunday. Join us on Friday and Saturday night for a super BUFFET. Breakfast hours are 7am to 10:45 am. Lunch hours are 11 am to 2 pm every day. Dinner hours on Friday nights are 5pm until 9pm and on Saturday nights from 6pm until 9pm.
Karaoke is now being held on Saturday nights. There is no cover charge although there is a minimum purchase of $5.00 per person.
Group Hospitality
Our special area of emphasis is serving groups who want to come to the north Georgia mountains for a retreat, planning session, wedding, family and other reunions, or other type of gatherings away from the normal pressures of business and the sometimes hurried diversity of our daily lives. We are the ideal place to retreat from those pressures and enjoy a productive and fun getaway in a small town that offers lots of things to do in a mountain setting. Please ask us about the possibilities, and we will create for you whatever it takes to have an enjoyable stay.
